Our mission is to provide affordable, quality childcare in an environment where your child will develop physically, socially, and emotionally.

We believe all children develop at different levels and that they develop best through hands on experiences. That's why Tiny Einsteins believes that children learn best through play. Here at Tiny Einsteins we believe children learn most through play, music, art, and social interaction.

Our curriculum is teacher-guided but children are the ones who influence how they learn based on their interests. To illustrate, if a child appears to take an interest in cars or dinosaurs during a given week, we will then expand the child's learning by modifying the curriculum to incorporate the specific interests of the child. For the example above, we may guide the child to count the number of toy cars in a particular area or to draw a dinosaur using dot-paints, thus developing either math or motor skills, respectively, while encouraging the use of creativity in an environment that is fun for the child. Thus, although curriculum is determined ahead of time, it develops around the interests of the child.

Our philosophy is greatly influenced by that of Reggio Emilia based teaching, an approach that encourages a child-led, play-based environment. We believe that by letting children lead their own learning, they will develop the tools necessary to shape who they will ultimately become - successful, responsible, and respectful.

About Mrs. Jennifer

Welcome to Tiny Einsteins!

My name is Jennifer Zuniga. I am the owner and care provider here at Tiny Einsteins. I have been providing child care in my home since 2011. However, I've been teaching and caring for preschool-age children since 2006. I taught in a classroom setting and held a director role at a local preschool prior to opening my home to care for children. I have an early childhood education degree from Foothill College and I am state licensed. I am CPR/First aid & preventative health certified. I also have a Masters teaching permit from the California Teacher Training Consortium as well as countless hours of continued education. I have a son who was the inspiration for me to open Tiny Einsteins.

I love caring for children and I promise to provide the same care for your child that I would for my own child.
